Generally, You may use our websites for information purposes without giving personal information and informing ESET who you are. The exclusive content may only be limited to registered visitors. When you register for the ESET World (“Event”), we need to collect and process personal data included in the registration form for the purposes of registration, organization of the Event and operation of this web site as follows

Personal data included in the registration form, such as name a surname, email, job title, company, country that may only be used for the planning of the Event and its parts, distribution of materials regarding the Event as well as delivery of limited number of reminders and notifications concerning the schedule of Event and new content publication. If the Event is not organized as the virtual one only, additional information such as flight details, check-in/out dates and times and accommodation preferences may be required in order to provide assistance with travel and accommodation arrangements. The retention period shall not exceed 6 months after end of the Event.
Viewing Statistics may only be used internally for the purpose of the improvement of the website, content and user experience in general. Viewing statistics may include the information concerning video streams.
To make our website and Services work properly, We may store some cookies to your web browser, either when You visit our website, when You log into your Account or when You use a certain Service. By default, We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for functioning of our website and Services requested by You. There are only few legal bases for data processing which We use according to the GDPR legislative framework. Our activities are mainly covered by

Data Confidentiality

ESET is a company operating worldwide via affiliated entities or partners as part of our distribution, service and support network. Information processed by ESET may be transferred to and from affiliated entities or partners for performance of the Terms, for provision of services or for support or assistance. right to rectification of your personal data if inaccurate (You also have the right to have incomplete personal data amended),

These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") constitute a special agreement between ESET, spol. s r. o., having its registered office at Einsteinova 24, 851 01 Bratislava, Slovak Republic, registered in the Commercial Register administered by Bratislava I District Court, Section Sro, Entry No 3586/B, Business Registration Number: 31 333 535 (hereinafter referred to as "ESET" or "Provider") and you, a natural person or legal entity (hereinafter referred to as "You" or "User”) who accesses the service (as defined bellow) through this website governed by the Terms. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, then you agree to these Terms for that organization and guarantee that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. In that case You and User will refer to that organization. Read the Terms carefully, they relate also to service provided by ESET through or in relation to this website.

Description of Service

Through this website, ESET provides you with access to a variety of resources, including live video streams for uploaded videos, files and other materials (hereinafter referred to as "Service"). The Service, including any updates, enhancements, new features, and/or the addition of any new Web properties, are subject to the Terms. The Service is available exclusively to the registered visitors.

The Service requires you to register for the event, you must complete the registration process by providing us with current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the applicable registration form.

ESET reserves the right to decline your registration at its sole discretion.

Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your registration. You agree to notify ESET immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. ESET will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your unique link, either with or without your knowledge. However, you could be held liable for losses incurred by ESET or another party due to someone else using your unique link. Governing Law and Language

The Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Slovak law. You and ESET agree that conflict provisions of the governing law and United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall not apply. You expressly agree that exclusive jurisdiction for any claim or dispute with ESET or relating in any way to Your use of the Software resides in District Court Bratislava I, Slovakia and you further agree and expressly consent to the exercise of the personal jurisdiction in the District Court Bratislava I in connection with any such dispute or claim.

In the case of discrepancies between the language versions the English version shall always prevail as the English version is deemed original.

General provisions

ESET reserves the right to make changes to our Services as well as to revise these Terms, Privacy Policy or any portion thereof at any time by updating the relevant document (i) to reflect changes to the Services or website or in how ESET does the business, (ii) for legal, regulatory or security reasons, or (iii) to prevent abuse or harm.
