European Cybersecurity Day will take place on 21 November as a hybrid event, and we’d be delighted to have you join us in person for a unique networking opportunity in a unique atmosphere of one of the most famous world´s museum.

You can of course decide to join only virtually.

About the venue

The Acropolis Museum is one of the best modern museums in the world. Located just a stone’s throw away from Acropolis Hill and the Parthenon, it stands imposingly over the famous pedestrian street called Dionysiou Aeropagitou and the neighborhood of Koukaki.

The impressive museum occupies an area of 14.000 square meters and boasts a vast collection of more than 4.000 exhibits spread over four different levels.

The auditorium "Dimitrios Pantermalis" has a seating capacity for 204 people and is located on the building’s ground floor.

How to get there

Due to its central location, getting to the Acropolis Museum is easy to walk from most central neighborhoods of Athens like Syntagma, Monastiraki, Thisseion, and Koukaki.

Metro:
The entrance of the museum is only a couple of minutes away to walk from Acropolis metro station (red line)

Airport:
The Acropolis Museum is approximately 34 km from Athens International Airport, which can take from 30 to 60 minutes taxi ride depending on the traffic situation.

Car parking

The Acropolis Museum does not have any parking lot. There is free parking on the street in the Koukaki area. The average fee for parking in multi-story car parks is 25 € per day.

Catering

In a cafe with a terrace offering a view of archaeological excavations you can enjoy tasty snacks, coffee, tea, and cold drinks during the coffee breaks. A warm lunch buffet will be served for the event's physical participants free of charge.

Accommodation

Please note that ESET does not cover accommodation and travel costs for conference attendees.

There are plenty of hotels available in Acropolis Museum area. Prices start at 90 € per night.

Governing Law and Language

The Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Slovak law. You and ESET agree that conflict provisions of the governing law and United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall not apply. You expressly agree that exclusive jurisdiction for any claim or dispute with ESET or relating in any way to Your use of the Software resides in District Court Bratislava I, Slovakia and you further agree and expressly consent to the exercise of the personal jurisdiction in the District Court Bratislava I in connection with any such dispute or claim.

In the case of discrepancies between the language versions the English version shall always prevail as the English version is deemed original.

General provisions

ESET reserves the right to make changes to our Services as well as to revise these Terms, Privacy Policy or any portion thereof at any time by updating the relevant document (i) to reflect changes to the Services or website or in how ESET does the business, (ii) for legal, regulatory or security reasons, or (iii) to prevent abuse or harm.
