While Czechia isn’t the largest of EU countries, ESET data shows that it’s in the crosshairs of cybercriminals and state-backed actors. In our talk, we’ll discuss the latest detection trends of several threat categories, including phishing with improved, more trustworthy messaging. We’ll then go over the tactics and techniques used in select ransomware attacks. Lastly, we’ll explore the activities of APT groups, focusing on a Lazarus group attack first seen in Czechia, which was later reused in other countries around Europe.
