Long-awaited update of the EU's NIS regulation is just around the corner. How will it impact businesses, what's the newest addition to Union's critical infrastructure and what it promises to our common cybersecurity? A Member of the European Parliament will shed some light on what were the legislators' intentions and what is to be expected from NIS 2.

Markéta Gregorová is a Czech activist and politician, she is a member of the Czech Pirates and a Member of the European Parliament.
In the European Parliament she serves in the 9th parliamentary term. She joined the Group of the Greens/European Free Alliance, where she forms part of the European Pirates Delegation in the European Parliament. She is a Vice-Chair of the Delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly (DEPA). She is a full member of the Committee on International Trade (INTA), Special Committee on Foreign Interference in all Democratic Processes in the European Union, including Disinformation (INGE2) and the Delegation to the EU-Armenia Parliamentary Partnership Committee, the EU-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Cooperation Committee and the EU-Georgia Parliamentary Association Committee (DSCA). She is also a substitute member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET), the Committee on Constitutional Affairs (AFCO) and the Subcommittee on Security and Defence (SEDE).
Among her main topics belong human rights, hybrid threats including disinformation and cybersecurity, and the region of Eastern partnership, with focus on its relations with the EU and Russia.
