The financial sector has been facing increased threats, not only from criminal groups, but also from hostile nation state attacks. The need to protect the integrity of global financial systems is clearly paramount, and is a key part of cyber-resillience. This panel will cover what has changed since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, what the current threats look like and what can be done by defenders to ensure the ongoing integrity of the financial critical infrastructure.

Adam Lange is Head of the Global Cyber Threat Hunting team at one of the largest international financial institutions. In his spare time, he hunts for cybercriminals, analyses malware and creates security tools and systems. He has over two decades of experience in IT and IT security, both on the offensive (red) and defensive (blue) sides. Since 2013, he has been dealing with security in the Polish and international financial sector, he has actively participated in the development of solutions such as "PolishAPI" or "Trusted Profile". In 2018-2019, he was appointed the first chairman of the Threat Intelligence Forum at the Polish Bank Association. Active member of Polish Cybersecurity Community Forums and Events.

Ireneusz Tarnowski is the expert in the Cyber Threat Analysis and Response Team in Santander Bank Poland, where he is responsible for tactical and operational Cyber Threat Intelligence. Analyzing threats in cyberspace especially techniques and tactics in attacks, he assesses the potential impact on the organization and develops response plans to emerging threats. A leader in the area of cyber incident management, where as an incident commander, he ensures that analyses are conducted in accordance with the highest standards, often being involved in their course at the technical level. Enthusiast of a defensive approach to cybersecurity and a dedicated "blue team" participant in training and competitions.

The Service requires you to register for the event, you must complete the registration process by providing us with current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the applicable registration form.

ESET reserves the right to decline your registration at its sole discretion.

Governing Law and Language

The Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Slovak law. You and ESET agree that conflict provisions of the governing law and United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall not apply. You expressly agree that exclusive jurisdiction for any claim or dispute with ESET or relating in any way to Your use of the Software resides in District Court Bratislava I, Slovakia and you further agree and expressly consent to the exercise of the personal jurisdiction in the District Court Bratislava I in connection with any such dispute or claim.

In the case of discrepancies between the language versions the English version shall always prevail as the English version is deemed original.

General provisions

ESET reserves the right to make changes to our Services as well as to revise these Terms, Privacy Policy or any portion thereof at any time by updating the relevant document (i) to reflect changes to the Services or website or in how ESET does the business, (ii) for legal, regulatory or security reasons, or (iii) to prevent abuse or harm.
